Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights Endorse Schor for Mayor
LANSING-Mayor Andy Schor today announced the endorsement of the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights for his reelection campaign. The MRCC represents Michigan union carpenters and millwrights.
“The Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights is committed to improving the lives of those in our communities through the hard work of our highly qualified union members. MRCC and our members have worked closely with Lansing Mayor Andy Schor and we are proud to endorse Andy Schor for a second term so we can continue this work,” said Lisa Canada, MRCC Political and Legislative Director.
“I am thrilled to receive the endorsement of the Carpenters and Millwrights once again! Throughout my time as Mayor, I have worked closely with the carpenters and millwrights to grow Lansing, and I am excited to continue that work for many more years. These skilled workers have been an asset as we rehab, redevelop, and build our city to provide for a more vibrant community,” Schor said.
The Carpenters join several others who have endorsed the Mayor for reelection, including Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Former Mayor Tony Benavides, local small business owner Gregory Eaton, IBEW 352, UA Local 333, and IBEW 665. Schor is also in the process of releasing his vision for Lansing’s future.
