Plumbers and Pipefitters UA Local 333 Endorse Mayor Andy Schor for Reelection
LANSING - Mayor Schor is calling the week of April 19th “labor week,” as he will announce the endorsement of a labor union every day. The first in the series is Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 333! UA Local 333 represents rights of plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC mechanics in the Lansing area.
“Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 333 is proud to stand with and endorse Mayor Andy Schor for re-election to the city’s top job. As pipefitters, it’s our job to know when something fits in the right place, and we believe Mayor Schor fits the role of Mayor well. It has been great to work with him, and we are excited for another productive four years in Lansing,” said Price Dobernick, Business Manager for the Local.
Schor said, “Plumbers and Pipefitters 333 are a tremendous asset to our community. They ensure that we have well-trained and qualified workers helping to build our city. I am very proud of the endorsement of UA Local 333, and am excited for the work that we will do together to grow Lansing!”
Schor’s campaign has announced many important endorsements thus far. Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Former Mayor Tony Benavides, local small business owner Gregory Eaton, and countless others have pledged their early support to the Mayor. UA Local 333 will be joined by several other unions this week, and the Mayor has dozens of endorsements yet to be released. Schor is also in the process of releasing his vision for Lansing’s future.
